A proud graduate of a North Carolina Historically Black University (HBCU), Shanelle is deeply committed to empowering her community and promoting diversity within the legal profession. She assisted in planning the HBCU pre-law summit held at her alma mater, North Carolina A&T State University, where she advocated for increased representation of HBCU students in the legal field. Shanelle’s passion for uplifting her community is evident in her work ethic and dedication to her clients.

During her time in law school, Shanelle seized the opportunity to broaden her horizons by collaborating with the North Carolina Bar Association on business and financial development projects in Port Au Prince, Haiti. This experience fueled her appreciation for the impact of businesses on society and solidified her commitment to providing top-notch legal counsel to entrepreneurs and business owners.
In her practice, Shanelle prioritizes building strong relationships with her clients, taking the time to understand their unique goals and challenges. Armed with this knowledge, she delivers strategic advice that empowers her clients to make informed decisions with confidence.
When not practicing law, Shanelle enjoys watching her son play basketball, being an avid traveler exploring new destinations, white water rafting adventures, indulging in the latest video game creations, and baking anything from cookies to cinnamon rolls. She also finds joy in connecting with her audience on TikTok, sharing snippets of her life and legal insights. Raised in a household of Pittsburgh Steelers fans and a Navy Veteran, Shanelle brings her vibrant personality and competitive spirit to her practice, earning her the reputation of being the friendly lawyer next door who is always ready to help her clients achieve their legal goals.
